Batik skills training that has been implemented some time ago to get big enough enthusiasm from the women's cooperative members Setia Bhakti Women of East Java, the love of batik as an Indonesian national heritage encourage members who Setia Bhakti Women in East Java for permanent preservation by way of skills training batik. After discussion about how to process the batik cloth and the like, here's a coloring process on batik cloth.
Equipment needed:
- A letter scales
- One glass for soda takeran of 100 cc or pipette (drop)
- A glass for water from the 500 cc takeran
- 2 large soup bowls
- 2 tablespoons of plastic ducks

- 2 pencil or small brush to "nyolet"

Drugs that are used to make color puder form consists of two kinds, namely:
1. Napthol
Should be mixed with liquid soda (loog), when it intervened in the given boiling water until clear, then given a cold water
2. Salt
Given enough cold water
How to make Loog:
As many as 441 fluid ounces of soda, caustik soda (soda water), 1 liter of water Gedistileerd (can buy at pharmacies). All this put together so that liquid. If the liquid is measured by the size of the name "Baume". The size of a soda solution must be found 360 (Baume), can only be in use.
Comparison:
1. Naphtol and Soda: 1 gr napthol, 1 ½ cc loog (soda water), 250 cc water (consisting of 100 cc and 150 cc of water to boil in cold water)
2. Naphtol and salt: 1 gram naphtol, 2 / 3 salt, 250 cc of cold water.
How to dilute the drugs are:
1. 1 gr naphtol and 1 ½ cc of soda in the mix well and then given 100 cc of boiling water with stirring until the liquid looks clear napthol / bening.Jika not yet clear in adding a little boiling water again, after that new 150 cc of cold water in the mix.
2. Salt solution: 2 g of salt dissolved in water as much as with a solution of napthol, so 250 cc cold water.

The process of batik fabric color:
Completed in batik cloth, cleaned with a brush so lost kanjinya, then dry in the sun but not dry. After it is inserted in a solution of naphtol first. Six times in advance and six times in the back. Dried again until dry and then in put in a salt solution. Batik cloth in the dye should repeat as above but only three times in the face and three times in the back. This means that colors can be uneven and somewhat shiny. Dried again until dry, then enter the preformance in boiling water to eliminate the night.
